ROHINGYAPHOBHIA AND INDIAN DILEMMA

Image
Rohingya issue is not new it is almost known to everyone and describing their history will be just waste of time and this time could be utilized in thinking what should be done for that community which is facing the worst time ever. Recent visit of Indian Prime Minister to Myanmar have given fire to the long driven struggle for identity and it has been increasing at a very large pace and have shown it's violent face too in past. Community specific discrimination has always been seen in many states weather it may be Nepal, Srilanka, Afghanistan, India and many other countries including USA. Cooling the fire of Dragon

The two of the biggest populous nation were in a situation of conflict which could have turned into a situation of war. The two countries are in the midst of a two month standoff at the Doklam Plateau a contested territory at the tri junction of India , Bhutan and China, after Chinese workers were seen building a road into the area. Despite agreeing to settle the dispute through diplomatic negotiations, China vigorously pursued its claim to the territory, prompting India, having closer relationship with Bhutan, to deploy its troops to the region to ward off Chinese hostility. The delicate situation echoes the Sino-India War, a conflict provoked by similar Chinese border encroachments; a second such war would prove costly for both regional superpowers. The current crisis, however, presents the South Asian power with an enticing opportunity. India can both assert its regional dominance in Asia and peacefully resolve the conflict if it can reduce its reliance on Chinese investment an...

India & China : Two Major Powers and Biggest Dispute

Image
China and India, two nuclear-armed powers with a combined population of 2.7 billion, have been in an “eyeball-to-eyeball” military stand-off over territory since mid-June. The flare-up, one of the most serious since China won a border war in 1962, comes as the two rising powers jostle for regional influence. The current dispute is near a three-way junction between Bhutan, China’s Tibet and India’s Sikkim. All land-based military and commercial traffic between India’s northeastern provinces and the rest of the country travels through the narrow strip of land known as the Siliguri Corridor -- also sometimes referred to as the Chicken’s neck. The Doklam Plateau -- where troops are currently facing off -- overlooks the corridor, which India defense strategists fear could be vulnerable to Chinese attack in case of a conflict. An 1890 convention between Britain and China is supposed to determine the location of the border near the Siliguri Corridor. However it contains a ...

Much awaited visit of India Prime Minister to Israel is going to conclude.First time ever it will happen that head of Indian Republic visting State of Israel. India and Israel established full diplomatic relationsin 1992 and since then the bilateral relationship between the two countries has blossomed at the economic, military, agricultural and political levels. Both countries see themselves as isolated democracies threatened by neighbors that train, finance and encourage terrorism, therefore both countries also view their cooperative relationship as a strategic imperative. Relations between Jerusalem and New Delhi were not always warm. Although both countries gained their independence from the United Kingdom within months of each other, they found themselves headed in pointedly different directions for nearly four decades - India as a leader in the Non-Aligned Movement that maintained close relations to the Arab world and the Soviet Union; Israel which linked its future to clo...
